**Description**

Rose Rocket is hiring for our first ever Business Operations Specialist to join our newly formed Business Operations Team. This role has the opportunity to support our internal analytics and refine our processes with the ultimate goal of helping our organization move faster and more efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with SQL knowledge and analytical expertise to gain experience for a future in product, growth, and/or strategy focused positions.

**A Day in the life of Business Operations at Rose Rocket**
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Operations to support efforts across some of Rose Rocket’s highest priority efforts (including data analysis and internal tooling)
- Be responsible for research projects to discover, validate, and inform the strategy and opportunities of multiple teams across the go-to-market organization
- Build a deep understanding of Rose Rocket’s data to bring novel insights and pragmatic recommendations to the wider organization
- Problem solve pieces of Business Operations projects and engage with senior stakeholders to drive the answer forward
- Help Business Operations and our stakeholders move at pace by approaching the work with humility
- Provide feedback, opinions, and suggestions up, down, and across Rose Rocket teams
- Help build and shape the Business Operations function at Rose Rocket. This is a new function and we want to understand your ideas

**Skills we are looking for**
- Experience with SQL, data visualization and modelling is a high priority
- Relevant experience: 2-4 years of demonstrated success in a relevant capacity
- Ability to solve problems: experience driving insights and solving problems with well-supported and pragmatic solutions
- A love for data & analytics: data management and analytical skills with attention to detail and a track record of leveraging data to drive business impact.
- A collaborative approach: strong interpersonal skills and experience in highly collaborative environments
- Action orientation: ability to act without being told what to do, ability to understand challenges and what needs to be done
- Clear written and verbal communication: ability to communicate complex ideas in a way that is simple & easy-to-understand for any team (e.g. engineering, third party vendors, operational, and/or executive)
- Organization and planning: habit of planning and organizing proactively, and providing regular updates on progress and timelines
- Ability to leverage data to craft and communicate a narrative

**It would be great if you have**:

- Strong business acumen
- A thorough understanding of SQL with query optimization preferred
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, Python
- Experience with A/B testing
