From electric and autonomous vehicles to new mobility models like ours, it’s an exciting time to be working on the future of the automotive industry Roam was founded in 2020 by experienced entrepreneurs and is backed by a number of world-class investors, including Mantella Venture Partners and Mistral Venture Partners. **About the position** We’re looking for someone to join our smart and enthusiastic Operations team in the Greater Toronto Area As a Fleet Operations Specialist, you will help ensure the smooth operations of the Roam fleet and help deliver an outstanding experience to our customers. Someone that can take care of our vehicles, but also take a step back and analyze the processes to identify opportunities for improvement. You will work with some of the top brands, including Audi, BMW, Tesla, Polestar, Lexus, and more. This position is a great starting point for someone who wants to get involved in a rapidly growing startup and help scale our business to thousands of cars on the road in the next few years **What you’ll be doing** - Deliver and pick up vehicles from customers as part of our valet service offering. - Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition, and record and arrange servicing and repair when needed. - Ensuring that all documents are properly labeled, dated and uploaded to each car profile. - Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to ensure they’re in good working condition and ready for new customers. - Coordinate with our service partners, like body shops and collision centers, to ensure vehicles are safe and in good working condition and to minimize vehicle downtime. - Assisting our customers with vehicle-related issues like mechanical failures. - Working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. - Work with the Operations team to approve, onboard, and offboard customers. - Identify and implement improvements to our operational processes to improve the effectiveness of our team as our fleet scales from hundreds to thousands of vehicles. - Monitor fleet and individual car for recurring problems and identify root cause and plan corrective actions.**Experiences, Qualifications & Skills** - You have 2+ years work experience, ideally in an automotive capacity whereby you’re comfortable around vehicles - Excellent communication skills, both internally with team members and externally with customers.
