**Compensation Package**
- Wage is dependent on experience
- Health Spending Account after 90 days
- DPSP after 90 days

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed analysis of tender documents & specifications
- Prepare tender documents following prescribed guidelines
- Determine total labour, equipment & materials required for the project
- Solicit pricing & analyze costs from subcontractors & suppliers for labour, equipment & materials
- Complete full quantity take-off & pricing of all labour, equipment & materials
- Identify risks, opportunities, assess site conditions, & determine sub-contractor availability
- Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project
- Liaise with client throughout project
- Order required materials for projects
- Assist with managing day-to-day activities for Project Management
- Support Project Management to ensure continuity between tender, construction & project completion
- Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual
- Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation
- Perform other duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**
- 2-3 years experience estimating, preferably in the industrial electrical sector
- Electrical Journeypersons will be considered based on experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from applicable program considered an asset
- Ability to analyze information
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Travel to project site, as required
- Strong MS Office skills
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
