Ancaster, Canada Applied Industrial Technologies Full time

In this role, you’ll leverage all that hands-on experience and expertise in your background and put it to good use helping us to support our customers and gain new ones while leading the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Work in a safe manner, lead by example and contribute to overall company safety
- Assemble, build, measure, cut, crimp, and test industrial and hydraulic hoses.
- Operate various cutting and machining tools such as saws, grinders, shears, crimpers, etc.
- Able to operate forklift (valid license) - Document Complete failure analysis, documentation of non-conformances. and Inspect and test product.
- Quality measurements required to properly evaluate components required to complete repairs.
- Communicate with supervisor any assembly discrepancies.
Some additional branch warehouse support duties may be required, and cross training
- Work in a team environment to efficiently achieve a high standard of quality and service to Applied’s extensive customer base
**Qualifications (experience & education)**:

- Valid license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED. Preferred technical training in related field.
- Mechanically inclined coupled with strong working ethics.
- Energetic and focused personality with willingness to learn
- Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
- Proficient with measuring tools, follow precise procedures for inspection and repairs
Ability to prioritize number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines.
- Extremely high level of attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skill.
- Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.
**Working Conditions**: Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; attention to detail; repetitive tasks; bending, crouching, kneeling. Able to lift and carry heavy parts of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
