Located in the beautifully restored Rosemead House Hotel, Janevca is redefining elevated dining in Esquimalt. We are a 5-star culinary destination known for our refined menu, commitment to excellence, and exceptional guest experience. We are currently seeking passionate, skilled culinary professionals to join our growing team.
We are hiring for the following positions, to be filled immediately:
**Location**: Janevca, Esquimalt BC
**Start Date**: As soon as possible
**Compensation**: $21-25 per hour dependent on experience
PIZZA LINE COOK
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook hand-crafted, gourmet pizzas in a wood-fired oven
- Ensure consistency in dough preparation, toppings, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and quality control
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times
- Assist with prep duties as needed and maintain a clean station
- Coordinate with other line cooks for timely service during peak hours

PASTA LINE COOK
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare fresh pastas and sauces from scratch in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment
- Cook and plate pasta dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Monitor and manage portion sizes and quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized station in accordance with health and safety standards

HOT LINE COOK
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute a variety of hot appetizers and entrees with impeccable timing and presentation
- Manage sauté, grill, or oven stations depending on the menu and shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service
- Follow recipes and plating guidelines with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot line and adhere to food safety protocols
