Northern Peak HR is seeking a talented individual on behalf of a client, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of harvest and delivery operations including road construction and maintenance activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of trucking operations ensuring efficiency and productivity while maintaining full legislative compliance.
- Oversee the harvesting, loading and unloading activities.
- Oversee maintenance and shop operations.
- Ensure environmental regulation are maintained
- Participate in the development of any business strategic planning.
- Work closely with planning and operations to plan and execute the operating plans to meet both internal and external customers requirements.
- Provide the leadership required to foster an environment of continuous improvement across the operation.
- Ensure cost efficiency is maintained.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of Forestry Operations experience.
- Previous managerial experience in an industrial work environment.
- Degree or diploma in Forestry, Forest Engineering or Mechanical Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment or Truck and Coach would be considered an asset.
- Previous knowledge in trucking operations and the Highway Traffic Act.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills (excel, word)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, self starter, initiative required to act under mínimal supervision.
- Strong planning skills and highly organized

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
