**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach foundational mathematics to elementary and secondary school students based on the BC curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' learning levels and needs.
- Help students build a strong mathematical foundation and confidence in problem-solving.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Experience teaching children in a group setting
- Strong background in tutoring or teaching, particularly in Math, and English
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate effectively.
- A passion for helping students succeed academically and personally.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
