**Responsibilities**:

- Perform conventional and GPS surveys using a variety of survey equipment, including Trimble sitework and advanced GNSS receivers.
- Conduct topographic, construction layout, as-built, and volumetric surveys. Maintain accurate field notes and records and assist in preparing survey reports.
- Complete machine control support, including GNSS Grader calibration, troubleshooting, and data transfer.
- Collect and manage accurate survey data, ensuring quality control and accuracy in all field measurements.
- Provide stakeout and layout services for grading and excavation,
- Reporting to the Survey Manager and working closely with project managers, foremen, equipment operators, and other site personnel to ensure layout work aligns with project requirements and design plans
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Work safely in all weather conditions and terrains, ensuring effective communication with the site team to maintain a safe work environment.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years Gradesman experience in civil construction, with Strong knowledge of processes, and techniques
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
- Familiarity with construction management software (such as Trimble siteworks & and advanced GNSS receivers) and other relevant tools, and Canadian Civil and Commercial UAV License considered an asset.
- Proficient with 3D-MC2 and machine control systems.
- Experience with GNSS Grader calibration and troubleshooting.
- Strong data collection and management skills using survey software and data controllers.
- Proven experience working in varied terrain and weather conditions.
