Everclean is offering a dynamic Management Trainee opportunity for individuals looking to advance into a Site Manager role. As part of our growing operations, this program is designed to provide hands-on experience and leadership training in facilities management and custodial services. You will be mentored by senior leaders and play a key role in overseeing operations while developing the skills necessary for a future Site Manager position.
**Program Overview**:
The Management Trainee will actively manage custodial and facility service teams, ensuring high-quality service standards, operational efficiency, and safety. You will gain practical experience in supervising daily activities, managing resources, and communicating with key stakeholders. This program is designed to provide the tools and knowledge necessary for success in a Site Manager role, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you progress.
**Duties**:
- Daily:_
- Supervise all daily operations, monitor day-to-day site performance
- Able to manage and work with janitorial team in challenging environment
- Ensure the service team is meeting quality standards based on the scope of work
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate
- Ensure team members are trained based on standard operating procedures
- Liaise with Property Management and key stakeholders on any operational requirement, changes and/or updates
- Ensure daily cleaning and washrooms logs are completed
- Able and willing to perform hands on work with janitorial team
- Maintain and operate on site equipment (pressure washing, leaf blowing, carpet extraction, ride on scrubber, walk behind scrubber, etc)
- Perform light maintenance work as needed
- Weekly:_
- Ensure the site schedule is completed and communicated out to the client and team
- Assess staffing levels and make recommendations on any changes
- Perform supplies orders and put in equipment repair/maintenance requests
- Attend any site related operations, client or company meetings
- Monthly:_
- Perform site supplies audit and verify all site supplies deliveries are correct
- Note and complete any additional work requests outside of the scope of work
- Check monthly service hours balance and develop staffing plan accordingly
- Periodic_
- Ensure the cleaning team has completed regulatory training such as WHMIS, Bloodborne pathogens, etc.
- Ensure that WorkSafe/Worker’s Compensation Board regulations are fully complies with as it relates to health and safety
- Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager, Key Stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership team
**Qualifications**:
- Valid class 5 Driver's License
- Previous supervisory/managerial experience
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to perform hands-on work when required.
