Goodwill Industries, Ontario Great Lakes, one of five regional Goodwills in Canada, serves communities across Ontario, and employs 950 people on a variety of social enterprise work platforms. The organization is positioned for accelerated growth and is aiming to create 900 new jobs over the next five years.
**Resource Navigator (Employee Development and Family Strengthening**
Support development of resource navigation for Employee Coaches. Primarily supporting resource development for White Oaks Location in order to support Employee Coach with community fair. This will be focused on mental health, addictions and health resources to ensure all Goodwill employees will have access to what they need to prosper. Job will be centred on the development of resource guides, materials for each location depending of space and planning for community fairs for larger locations.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with Employee Coaches to identify their resource needs and gather feedback from EC’s to ensure resource guides and materials align with needs.
- Conduct research to identify Mental Health, addictions, and health resources available in each community we serve (from Windsor to Newmarket)
- .Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to create visually appealing materials including brochures posters and flyers.
**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the mental health, addictions and health resource field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Has experience learning and working around issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Strong organizational and project management skills to plan and execute resource guides, community fairs, and huddle materials for employees
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- Between 15-29 years of age at the start of employment
