Die Handler

Can Art is a commercial leader in the Aluminum Extrusion field, with 3 plants in Ontario, come and join a true industry leader in this exciting manufacturing field.

We need an Assistant Press Operator to start immediately at our Brampton Plant, near Steeles and Finch across the road from Wet N Wild Toronto.
- **Must be able to work 12 hour continental shifts, 7 shifts every 2 weeks**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Make sure that dies are available according to required press schedules
- Deliver the required dies to presses as per the schedule
- Isolate dies to be corrected
- Ensure Die Shop is informed about priority dies
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment

**Requirements**:

- Must be willing and comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work with caustic
- Basic Knowledge of tooling/dies an asset
- Must be able to to read, write and communicate clearly in English
- Quality driven with attention to detail is a must
- Minimum grade 12 education of equivalent
