With competitive benefits, a casual work environment, generous time-off policies, and a culture grounded in respect and integrity, we create a workplace where people feel empowered and valued. **DAY IN THE LIFE**: - Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures - Operating rig equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts - Fitting bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motors - Align and test equipment, making any necessary adjustments - Performing preventive and operational maintenance and repairing or replacing defective parts when necessary - Provide technical support and guidance to the field personnel for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of Top Drives - Maintain standard inspection and repair procedures for the Top Drives - Ensure that proper fuels, lubricants, pressures, power, and parts are used on the equipment - Participating in on-call and overtime as required, with regular travel to field locations **WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**: - A high school diploma is required - Must have a valid vehicle operations license (abstract required) - 5-7 years' experience working with drilling rig equipment - Ability to multitask, find solutions, and establish priorities - Have a sound knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems - Have the physical strength required to work with heavy equipment - Exemplary safety skills, both written and verbal If you are interested in this position and feel like you’re the right person for the job, please apply Precision Drilling offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, prescription drug, and life insurance.
