**The gig**

The Global Payroll Supervisor is responsible for performing and supervising all activities necessary to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of the Canada, US, and other international payrolls.

Reporting to the Associate Director Global Payroll, the Payroll Supervisor is accountable for the payrolls’ day-to
- day operations, payroll tax and accounting, as well as internal/external audits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle processing Global payrolls in a timely and accurate manner, including benefits reconciliation.
- Payroll changes to include, but not limited to salary/wages increases, benefit deductions, employee terminations.
- Review/reconcile quarterly and year-end payroll reports including T4s, W2’s and other required reporting.
- Support with taxable equity benefits programs.
- Reconcile the monthly benefit reports
- Prepare and balance the payroll Journal entries
- Stays up to date of regulatory changes which impact the payroll function
- Provide the Finance team with ad hoc reports, as required
- Support and collaborate inter-departmentally

**Qualifications**:

- 4-5 years of payroll experience - some supervisory experience preferred
- PCP designation
- Payroll Accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of RSUs
- ADP Workforce experience is an asset
- Exposure to US and/or international payroll preferred (or willing to learn)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and has an excellent customer service skills
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and great time management skills - you’re able to juggle multiple priorities at once
