**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This is an exciting and fun opportunity for a self-motivated, outgoing individual who will support our Club in delivery of phenomenal events. This individual will work closely with the Events and Buildings teams to help with organization, set up and take down of all Club events.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interact and converse with members, guests and other employees in a friendly, courteous and co-operative manner. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards members, guests and other employees.
- Work closely with the Events, Media and Communications Coordinator to understand the requirements of each event.
- Assist with the set up and take down of materials from the event.
- Assist with other related duties which contribute to the success of the events.
- Ensure event space is clean, organized and safe.
- Support the setup of AV equipment.
- Support the final checks of the event.
- Support overseeing the event and act quickly to resolve issues by brining them to the Coordinator or Manager’s attention.
- Give feedback to the Coordinator of the events success.
- Assist with set-up of on-hill special events and transport of materials/equipment, e.g. sound system, tables, chairs, delivery of food/beverages, etc., ensuring appropriate safety policies and procedures are followed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Hospitality experience would be an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification would be an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High energy levels with an ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform under stress.
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity.
- You have a commitment to Osler Bluff Ski Club’s values and vision

**Hours**: must be available in the evenings to include weekends and holidays. Wednesday, Thursday, and Sundays work up to 9:00 pm. Fridays and Saturdays could be until 12:00 am depending on event.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
