**What you will be doing**:

- Regularly monitor the locations inventory to ensure proper plant health for future sales.
- Help establish and lead an effective IPM program for the location.
- Establish preventative spray schedules that minimize disease and pest problems.
- Record events, cycles, results, and observations to help establish annual baselines.
- Assist the Production Coordinator by recommending solutions, ordering chemicals, and monitoring for issues.
- Conduct research for current industry trends, approved chemicals, and improved methods of treatment.
- Be involved in webinars or trade workshops / courses, as applicable.
- Lead the effort to keep the location weed free by organizing treatment teams and monitoring for hot spots.

**What we need from you**:

- At least one year of experience in Agricultural Pest Control.
- A keen interest in plant pathology, plant pests and plant diseases.
- Experience in using and calibrating spray equipment and PPE.
- Possess a current Spray Applicator’s License for Agriculture or be willing to write the exam for the license.
- A detail-oriented individual who is proficient in record keeping, math calculations, and basic computer skills.
- The ability to work alone and physically capable to carry a 40-lb backpack.
- The ability to drive a tractor, or willingness to learn.

Pay rate will be commensurate, based on experience, skills, and aptitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
