The company can provide consulting expertise to support IT strategy, software development, outsourced operations, staff augmentation, and SAP Projects.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- University graduation in privacy and/or information governance, policy or a related discipline and 4-yr related experience
- Extensive experience in privacy and access legislation (global, federal, provincial/territorial)
- Experience with either Information Governance or records management and information management.
- Experience leading and providing consultation and support to clients at all levels of an organization.
- Experience in a privacy and information access role in a large organization of big size and complexity.
- Experience in policy development/implementation related to access to information and privacy.
- Available for onsite meetings with clients and technical teams located in Edmonton as required.
- Proposed resource must have its own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for the completion of work required by this contract.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with stakeholders and schedule meetings to learn about how to evolve the Data Strategy and Data Governance;
- Prepare briefing notes, meeting minutes, and other documents;
- Draft a detailed Playbook to expand the Data Strategy and Data Governance Framework;
- Prepare presentations for engagement with stakeholders, steering committees, project groups and other stakeholders;
- Coordinate with stakeholders to populate key foundational elements into the Data Playbook;
- Align the Data Playbook to the Data Strategy and Data Governance Framework throughout development and stakeholder engagements;
- Manage tasks and action items and follow up and escalate as required;
- Provide support by collecting and compiling information from external stakeholders, departments, and Service Alberta teams;
- Coordinate approvals and sign-offs; and
- Maintain engagement, meeting, and opportunity trackers
- **MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ON-SITE MEETINGS IN EDMONTON WHEN REQUIRED.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $65.00-$88.00 per hour
