We are actively seeking a full-time experienced Press Brake Person and Machinist.  We have been growing for the past 30 years, supplying parts to the mining industry, marine, rail and other heavy industries. As we see the need for R&D samples for medical tech, architectural steel and more, we have purchased a large laser cutting machine. We are capable of a large array of custom machining jobs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a press brake to manufacture components from metal plates. Sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans for material up to 1cm thickness.
- Set up and program CNC machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
- Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of CNC machine tools including laser cutter
- Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications

**Skills/experience useful for this role**:

- Operation of a Press Brake.
- Operated and set up CNC machines
- Interpreted technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications
- Programmed the CNC machine, inputting the design specs, ensuring the machine performs as required
- Conducted regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
- Measured and examined completed parts to verify conformance to specs
