The Family Development Consultant functions as a part of a multidisciplinary zone team providing family development services to a pediatric special needs caseload. This position reports to the Family Development Leader.
- Qualifications_
- Baccalaureate Degree in relevant post-secondary education.
- 2 years’ experience in the Human Service/Child and Youth Care fields.
- Demonstrated experience in child development.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and their families, behavioral. Issues and facilitation of parent groups.
- Proven ability in interpersonal relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledgeable of group processes and facilitation techniques an asset.
- Valid First Aid Certificate/CPR as required.
- Valid driver’s license and available vehicle/transportation with adequate insurance.

- Physically capable of performing all aspects of the job.
