**Position**:Procurement and Accounts Administrator

**Location**: Mississauga, Canada

**Role Overview**: As our Procurement and Accounts Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—ensuring seamless financial processes and optimizing our procurement activities. If you’re ready to make a real impact in the pharmaceutical world, this role is your prescription for success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor expenses and reconcile account balances and invoices.
- Reviewing and processing invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Managing and scheduling payments to suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.
- Communicating with suppliers and vendors to address inquiries, resolve issues,
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
- Ensure timely delivery and maintain quality standards.
- Keep meticulous records of financial transactions and procurement activities.
- Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Work closely with our R&D teams—understand their needs and align procurement strategies.
- Team up with production, quality control, and logistics to keep things humming.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Bonus points if you know your way around the pharmaceutical industry

Pay: From $17.30 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Purchasing: 2 years (preferred)
- Accounts Payable: 2 years (required)
