**Summary**

We are seeking a Lead Hand to join our team at Beretta Farms. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing early morning grading operations and ensuring quality control within our production processes. Your leadership and beef cutting skills will help us maintain our commitment to providing healthy food options while fostering a positive work environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily operations and manage team performance to ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards.
- Assist in training new employees and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with management to execute production schedules effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in budgeting for operational needs.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Expert knife handling as well as maintaining sharpness and cleanliness.
- Demonstrated ability to cut, bone and trim meat.
- Good physical stamina, dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
- Proficiency in various cutting techniques, including fabricating primal and sub-primal cuts, trimming, and portioning, is necessary.
- Oversee the grading team and their efficiency in the mornings.
- Completes and maintains daily reports, documents, and checklists.
- Knowledge and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols to prevent food contamination and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership.
- Ability to operate and maintain various cutting equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.74-$31.89 per hour
