**Responsibilities**:
Under the direction of the Director, Neurodevelopmental and demonstrating a commitment to the mission, values and management philosophy of SSCY, RCC and the incumbent is responsible for:
Providing professional, skilled psychosocial interventions that are aimed at assisting families whose preschool children have been referred to Child Development Clinic (CDC) with a query of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or children/youth, 17 years of age and younger referred to the MB FASD Centre with a query of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Social Work services will include education and support and referral for families in the process of seeking assessment and post diagnostic follow up and support.

Participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team and interpreting social, psychological, emotional and family problems to the team; maintaining excellent working relationships with team members and participating in team planning and problem solving; performing a variety of administrative functions as required.

**Education**:
Ø Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education accredited school/faculty, or the approved equivalent if internationally educated.

**Licenses, Registration**:
Ø Must be registered with Manitoba Institute of Registered Social Workers (MIRSW)

Ø Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check

**Experience**:
Ø Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant experience in social work services in a health care setting preferred including working with families with children with special needs.

Ø Ability to practice independently and with minimum supervision.

Ø Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Ø Computer literacy and ability to work in an EMR environment.

Ø Understanding of health and social welfare systems

Ø Valid Manitoba driver's license and reliable vehicle for use during work hours.

**Hours of Work: 7.5 hours/day which may include some evenings/weekends.**

**Salary**: $30.830/ hr - $ 40.234/ hr As per MAHCP Collective Agreement

Pay: $30.83-$40.23 per hour
