**Title**: Executive Assistant to VP, Human Resources (Internal Only)
**Salary**: $72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Temporary - Leave coverage (Term until November 30, 2025)
**Hours**: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver office(s) - Park Royal, on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. (Hybrid - minimum 60% in the office).
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, in 2025

**About the role**

As Executive Assistant to the VP of HR, you will provide executive level administration to the VP of HR and Executive Director of HR, and support HR functions and activities though the provision of a full range of proactive administrative support and services including planning HR department events while ensuring to build an engaging agenda where First Nations culture features prominently throughout. In this position, you will ensure Human Resources administrative services are coordinated across the team and in alignment with administrative services across the organization. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with a Senior Leader within FNHA

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:
**Education**
- Diploma in Business/Office Administration and or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience working with and supporting Senior and Executive level management.
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations in an administrative or management capacity.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner.

**Knowledge and Competencies**
- Advanced knowledge of MS office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Access
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to high quality work
- Demonstrated information, records and data management skills and abilities.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
