**SANITATION TECHNICIAN**

We have an immediate opening for a full-time sanitation technician.

**Responsibilities**:

- General cleaning of the warehouse: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
- Operating floor cleaners
- Working with cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Maintenance of refrigerated coolers
- Minor repairs and painting
- Good housekeeping
- Can perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner that complies with safety requirements, including OH&S policies and procedures
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

**Qualifications**:

- Previous sanitation experience is required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards would be an asset
- Previous power tool experience is required
- Ability to follow directions and work instructions
- Repetitive motion required on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting
- Ability to deal with people in a positive and constructive manner
- Highly organized; knowledgeable and follows the company’s policies and procedures

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
