**Job Summary**:
The Account Manager is the primary customer contact for Garden Grove contracted accounts. They are responsible for timely follow up and follow through with customers for maintaining strong, positive customer relations to ensure total client satisfaction throughout both landscape and snow seasons. The Account Manager also suggests and sells non-contracted landscape management services to meet the needs of property and produce additional revenue for the company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Maintain strong positive relationships with clients based upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust and ability to meet the client needs
- Develop win-win opportunities for the client and the company
- Ensure that properties meet or exceed customer quality expectations
- Proactively manage properties by inspecting and locating problems in the landscape before the customer brings to our attention
- Conduct on site walk throughs with customers
- Communicate to appropriate parties any problem areas and work to find immediate resolution
- Responds to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner
- Identify and develop opportunities for enhancements and project upgrades that are consistent with customer preferences and promote revenue growth for the company
- Develop long term property plans that anticipate customer needs and assist customers in their budgeting process
- Create and present proposals to client
- Ensure all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to customer
- Track all proposals in progress and follow-up to maximize sales opportunities
- Update client on status or completion of enhancement work and ensure client satisfaction
- Ensure all contracted services provided are of excellent quality and completed in a timely fashion
- Familiar with scope of work for all contracts in designated area
- Monitor activity of crews and work closely with Operations regarding scheduling, quality and customer service
- Assist with accounts receivable when necessary
- Meet or exceed established sales goals for contract renewals and enhancements
- Monitor and update all sales opportunities in CRM and follow up with customers to optimize sales opportunities
- Work with administrative support to ensure all contract administration is timely and accurate
- Manage renewal process of all contracts in assigned area
- Maintain positive relations with any subcontractors and/or vendors
- Support business development contract sales growth through the building and developing of relationships with both new and existing clients within assigned region
- Represent company at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building and developing relationships that lead to new opportunities
- Above job duties are consistent through winter months

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Previous account management and customer service experience
- Previous landscape industry experience (flexible based upon other qualifications)
- Obtain relevant industry certifications within 12 months (Horticultural and Snow Management related)
- Current driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, quick learner
- Responsible, dependable, and ethical
- Self-motivated leader with a positive approach
**Education and Experience**:
- A business degree/diploma or 5 years in a client services or sales position required
- Experience and proven track record in developing and executing excellent client services
- Possess a customer centric mentality with a track record of managing the client commitment, negotiation, and client satisfaction
- Enjoys working with clients and external audiences
**Physical Requirements**:
- Shifts can include walking and standing for long periods of time - excellent stamina required.
- Fast paced environment.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat & humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold conditions.
