**Staging Mover & Delivery Driver**

**What We Do**:
The Décor Hub is a growing real estate staging company based in Cambridge, Ontario. We rent out furniture & home décor to KW-based stagers/real estate agents and stage properties in KW & the surrounding regions.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a staging mover & delivery driver, you’ll be:

- Processing, preparing & packing furniture & décor rental orders at the warehouse
- Delivering these orders from our warehouse to properties in KW & the surrounding regions; unloading the truck & placing items into properties in their desired locations
- Packing up these orders within the properties & returning them to the warehouse once the rental is finished.
- Unloading furniture & décor from truck & placing them back in their designated warehouse location
- Working with stagers during property stagings to place furniture & décor in their desired locations, as well as hanging up artwork & wall décor.
- Assisting in maintaining inventory & rental management system (Booqable) & website as needed (photography, data entry/removal, & barcoding)
- Clean/touch-up furniture & décor as needed
- General warehouse housekeeping

**Required Skills & Check**
- **Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check **from the Waterloo Regional Police Department
- **Full G License & Comfortable Driving a Box Truck**:

- **Courteousness** - given that we bring furniture in & out of people’s homes, being courteous & respectful to both the homeowners & property is of the utmost importance
- **Attention to detail** - must be able to carefully process orders to ensure no items are missing
- **Ability to regularly team lift & move large furniture weighing up to 130 lbs (65 lbs each) **-- (sofas, chairs, tables) through the warehouse, while loading/unloading the truck, & through doorways & corridors of properties
- **Spatial awareness** - must be able to move large furniture & décor into & out of properties carefully to avoid damaging doorways, walls, etc.
- **Punctuality** - deliveries & pick-ups must arrive at the agreed-upon time

**Preferred Skills & Experience**
- Background in and/or a passion for interior design and home decoration
- Experience using a hammer and power drill
- Proficiency with photography, Photoshop & the ability to quickly learn how to use computer software (Booqable)

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
