**About this opportunity**

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the Procurement Coordinator will support purchase requests submitted centrally to the Procurement team. Purchases include but are not limited to: furniture, fixtures, equipment, medical supplies, and various goods and services. This role will also support efforts driving compliancy with our centrally managed vendor base by reviewing decentral spend with local operations teams to onboard vetted suppliers where possible. The Procurement Coordinator will be also responsible for ensuring all vendor purchasing accounts are updated as required, tracking vendor performance, as well as providing support to the Senior Supply Chain Manager for any new or existing vendor management initiatives.

**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**
- Administration of vendor accounts for all CBI Health locations; action changes to accounts based on Corporate Real Estate activity (new builds, moves, and closures).
- Purchase and coordinating logistics for new and supplanted commercial furniture, fixtures, and equipment (capital assets).
- Negotiate quotes for products and delivery/installation and create proper Purchase Orders for approval.
- Work with all CBI Health locations to coordinate and assist transitioning from locally managed vendors to centrally managed vendor base
- Assist in tracking vendor performance.
- Assist in maintaining, documenting and revising standards as required.
- Assist with vendor management and new supply chain initiaives.

**Here’s what you’ll need to be successful**
- College diploma or University Degree in a relevant field such as Procurement is preferred.
- 2+ years purchasing experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain based role.
- Sound ability to read and interpret Blueprints (plans) to be able to interpret the building’s specifications and construction details for the purpose of furniture, fixtures, and equipment placement.
- Discerning negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Adobe Suite, Excel and Word
