Lodge Dishwasher/kitchen Helper

We are seeking a hardworking and positive individual to join our team as a **Dishwasher/Prep Cook** at our remote wilderness lodge in Rivers Inlet, BC. This is a seasonal position lasting approximately three months, offering a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful area on the west coast of British Columbia alongside a supportive team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed (knife skills are a plus)
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

**Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10+ hours per day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a close living and working environment
- Willingness to contribute to various tasks around the lodge as part of a team

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Excellent cleaning and sanitation skills
- Background in hospitality or hotel service is a plus
