Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for a variety of working capital management responsibilities and will support the manager execute treasury functions effectively and timely. The Cash Application Specialist is a supporting role with direct impact on cash and treasury management which influence decision making. The incumbent will support DAC Group global treasury operations.

**What we get**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting desirable
- 2 years or more of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Prior experience or knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash management, internal controls, and general accounting
- Ensures monthly, weekly and daily deadlines are met
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, NetSuite or comparable system highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all prior day cash remittances (EFT, cheques, credit card) are posted to the general ledger
- Coordinate with AR and Collections to offset unapplied cash balances
- Assist the Treasury Manager ensure bank balances are maintained and payables clear the bank
- Assist with cash flow management and forecasting
- Provide input in developing cash flow forecasting models that maintain foreign exchange needs and working capital and cash flow on a daily/monthly/quarterly
- Provide variance analysis (Actual vs Forecast) monthly
- Handle ad hoc administrative treasury function as assigned by the Treasury Manager
- Support Treasury Manager develop controls to ensure appropriate segregation of duties which safeguards cash
- Help with running and evaluating credit worthiness of clients
