Key Responsibilities
- Provides advice and recommendations to management to assist in technology directions, decisions, and roadmaps.
- Performs research and analysis in server infrastructure technology to identify, propose and implement cost effective and practical technology solutions.
- Engage and be part of the design team for the designated technologies and projects.
- Provides 2nd level of support in the designated areas.
- Provides technical guidance, advice, and assistance to other members of the team when required.
- Assist to set and maintains standards for the designated technologies.
- Performs installations and upgrades of server operating systems, system software, system patches and hot fixes as required.
- As required, provides day-to-day operational support and system administration tasks.
- Responds to assigned tickets and resolve problems in the designated technology areas.
- Ensure the security of information technology assets, data, network access, backup systems, and implement monitoring and alerting systems to verify the security of internal and external systems.
- Conducts hardware and software audits and review of server infrastructure to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
- Develop and maintains technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures for the designated technology areas.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.

Special Conditions:

- Some evening and weekend work will be required (as required)
- Ability to provide 24-hour on-call and on-site emergency support (as required)

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years’ progressive experience in IT Systems Administration and Architecture
- 3+ years of experience and knowledge of Linux and Windows Server and related services Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, Sites, etc.
- 3+ years of experience at a senior level for Technology stack including MS Exchange, Office 365, Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
- 3+ years of experience on virtualization technology, Hyper-V.
- Experience and knowledge of SAN technology and administration (Pure Storage, iSCSI, Fiber Channel).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix/PRTG, escalation processes, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of system vulnerabilities, endpoint security, system, and patch management.
- Proven strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Excellent report and documentation writing skills
- Working experience with Power shell is a must.
