Role Title
Imaging and Indexing Associate
Purpose of role
The Imaging & Indexing Associate is responsible for receiving incoming mail, sorting, preparing, scanning, quality assurance and indexing of imaged documents. This is a team position and incumbent may be required to perform one or all of the responsibilities for the position at any given time to provide exceptional customer service and meet SLA’s.
**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and scans incoming work into the work folders
- Images and Indexes incoming documents in accordance with established time standards for daily production and with the appropriate doc type and information
- Update appropriate systems, where necessary
- Adheres to Core Operation’s Behavioral Standards including focusing on solutions, being open to feedback and dialogue, taking initiative, and being involved and accountable.
- Escalate any issues and/or system issues to leader and IT Help Desk
- Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations by established department policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to work overtime as assigned by management.
- Assist and support other team members as required during vacations, absence and workload increases
Key Qualifications and Competencies
- High School diploma or equivalent education/experience preferred.
- Ability to type 30-35 wpm with an emphasis on accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated ability to organize and prioritize work in order to effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, with high concentration and attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work within the hours of Insurance Operations (6:00 am - 6:00 pm).
- Will be required to work on some Canadian Statutory holidays.
