**HEALTH CARE AIDE - EXTENDICARE BONNYVILLE**

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Health Care Aide provides direct personal and nursing care to the resident so as to fulfill the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of residents and in accordance with facility policies, procedures and work routines.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of a credentialed training program for Health Care Aides or equivalency to certification;
- Ability to read and write English as well as to understand verbal and written instructions in English;
- Long Term Care experience preferred but not required:

- Physically able to meet the requirements of the position;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
