**Job Overview**:
A reputable excavation company is seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Float Driver to join our team. As a Float Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment to various locations in Ontario. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargo.
- Strap down own loads and ensure the load on the trailer is safely loaded and secure
- Plan routes and schedule deliveries to optimize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Reporting and communicating effectively with dispatchers, foremen and supervisors

**Skills**:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Proficient in heavy equipment operation and machinery
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication and customer service skills

**Requirements**:

- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

**Experience**:

- Load & unload: 2 years (preferred)
- Flatbed: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- AZ License (required)

Work Location: In person
