Taza - Community Experience Ambassador (Part Time)

**Who we are**:
Taza Development Corp. (TDC) is a joint venture between the Tsuut’ina Nation and Canderel, a leading Canadian real estate company. The Nation is home to 2400 community members and adjacent to the southwest quadrant of the City of Calgary, Alberta. Governed by a Board of Directors, the TDC team will oversee the development of three distinct yet interconnected villages - Buffalo Run, Taza Park, and The Crossing. Over the next 25+ years, this 1200-acre community development project will bring significant social and economic prosperity to the region and elevate Tsuut’ina Nation as a key player in the real estate landscape.
The Community Experience team at Taza Development Corp. is currently seeking a part-time Community Experience Ambassador, to embark on an exciting journey with us. In this role, you will report to our Sales & Marketing Centre lead at our new Sales & Marketing Centre at Taza Park, opening in may 2025.
**The Community Experience Ambassador will have a clear purpose**: as the first point of contact you will create a positive and memorable experience for all guests who come to the Sales & Marketing Centre and ensure an exceptional level of service that will drive leads and generate sales for our homebuilder partners. You will be required to champion and showcase the unique attributes of our community development.
You will be required to support ongoing events within the Sales & Marketing
Centre and collaborate with local businesses, retail partners, builders, the Tsuut’ina Nation and the surrounding community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer service: Deliver outstanding customer service to our guests by professionally greeting them and offering information. Collaborate with our residential partners to ensure effective and accurate communication.
- General office duties: Keep updated records and files, track and respond to inquiries promptly, manage office supplies and inventory, and coordinate logistics for presentations and meetings.
- Support facility operations: Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Marketing Centre are managed and maintained. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure all interactive displays and merchandising units are free of debris and dust, understand and troubleshoot the interactive media wall, presentation screen and boardroom audio visual, along with all opening and/or closing procedures for the facility.
- Marketing: Support contesting, event coordination and data collection.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Availability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to reflect business needs.
- Strong communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity to handle interactions diplomatically and successfully engage with various stakeholders.
- Motivated to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, competitive, and dynamic environment.
- Real estate industry and/or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Tsuut'ina Nation culture, protocols, and language also considered an asset.
- Must have daily access to your own vehicle &/or reliable transportation to and from work.

**HOURS OF OPERATION ARE AS FOLLOWS, AND A SUBJECT TO CHANGE**:
Monday to Friday 1pm to 7pm
Saturday/Sunday/Holidays 12pm to 5pm
Closed Friday
(Civic and statutory holidays are typically weekend hours of operation and will be determined on a case-by-case basis).
