Lift Technician

**Job Title: Lift Technician**(Wheel Service Equipment Technician)

We’re looking for a Lift Technician to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

**Responsibilities**:

- Service, inspect, and install automotive lifts, wheel service equipment, and other garage equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Perform equipment testing, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Train customers on proper use of installed equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and keep work areas clean.

**Requirements & Skills**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience or certification as a lift technician preferred.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable towing a trailer; Class 3 license is an asset.
- Experience using hand/power tools, and working with hydraulic/electronic systems.
- Familiar with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work procedures.
- Forklift and scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently, travel for service calls, and occasionally stay overnight.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

**Related Physical, & Safety Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 1500 lbs.
- Capable of loading and securing equipment safely.
- Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) when required.
- Must follow site-specific and company safety protocols, including PPE usage.
- Occasional travel within Manitoba and to surrounding areas, including overnight stays.

**Employment Type & Compensation**:

- $27.00 - $35.00/hour, based on experience
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
