Job Title: Cake Decorator

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Cake Decorator to join our bakery team. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating stunning and personalized cakes for various occasions. Your expertise in cake decorating techniques, attention to detail, and artistic flair will contribute to our customers' joyous celebrations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Decorate cakes with precision and creativity, bringing clients' visions to life while adhering to design specifications.

2. Use various cake decorating techniques, such as piping, fondant work, gum paste flowers, and sculpting, to create unique and visually appealing cakes.

3. Prepare and mix icing, frosting, and other decorative elements, ensuring consistent quality and flavour.

4. Work closely with clients to understand their cake design preferences, incorporating their ideas and providing expert advice when needed.

5. Stay updated with the latest trends in cake decorating, researching new techniques and designs to enhance your repertoire.

6. Maintain a clean and organized decorating station, ensuring all tools, equipment, and ingredients are properly stored and handled.

7. Collaborate with the bakery team to fulfill customer orders, coordinating cake production and delivery schedules.

8. Keep accurate records of cake orders, tracking inventory and supplies, and communicating any shortages or needs to the bakery manager.

9. Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all cakes meet quality standards and are safe for consumption.

10. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns related to cake designs.

**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or similar role in a bakery or cake shop.

2. Strong artistic skills and creativity, with the ability to translate clients' ideas into visually stunning cake designs.

3. Proficient in various cake decorating techniques, including but not limited to, piping, fondant work, gum paste flowers, and airbrushing.

4. Attention to detail and precision in cake decorating, ensuring high-quality and consistent results.

5. Knowledge of different cake types, flavors, and fillings, as well as their compatibility with various decoration techniques.

6. Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet cake production and delivery deadlines.

7. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and the bakery team.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

9. Passion for cake decorating and a genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences through edible art.
