**Structural Truss Systems**specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for every size of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of over 38,000 square feet of manufacturing facility in **Fort MacLeod, AB**, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Structural Truss Systems facility.

**Role**:Maintenance Helper

**Job Type**: Full-time, 6-month contract

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday

Your role as a Maintenance Helper is to support our existing maintenance team with moving equipment and preparing Structural Truss Systems' new facility. This role involves general maintenance and labour duties.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- The relocation and installation of mechanical equipment from one facility to another.
- Diagnosis and repair of equipment and facility malfunctions and faults.
- Work in conjunction with the Structural Truss Maintenance Technicians to provide support as necessary.
- Work with other contracted trades to complete project assignments. Deal with outside vendors/part suppliers as required.
- Work closely with the Head of Maintenance and Structural Truss Maintenance Technician to ensure continuous compliance with standards and requirements.

**Key Requirements**:

- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to stand, push, pull and reach for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60-75 lbs.
- Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner, multitasking when necessary.
- Demonstrate hands on experience and working knowledge with each of the following: Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, and Computerized Maintenance Systems.
- History of meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, etc.
- Proper use of all required PPE. (hi-vis vest, safety glasses, earplugs, CSA approved work boots, ETC)

**Please note: You must have CSA approved work boots, as they are REQUIRED when on the manufacturing floor.**
