**Class 1 Driver**

**Company Driver Position**

Reimer Soils is a family owned Winnipeg business with over 40 years of history serving the Landscaping supply needs of Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We currently have an opening for a Class 1 driver. The position commences this Spring with potential for immediate work - positive performance can lead to winter work and an opportunity into the future.

Our drivers are our first contact and only personal contact with many of our customers. You are the **ambassador of the Company.** We are looking for skillful, safe drivers that have a positive attitude and strong desire to get the job done.

**Experience we are looking for**:

- experience with tandem dump, tandem trailer, tri-axle trailer or articulated trailer (pups).
- ensure safety and preventative maintenance policies are followed.
- be organized in maintaining paperwork.
- be proactive in ensuring equipment is respected and maintained.

**Skills**:
Class 1 license

Transportation experience

Loader experience and gravel/soil dumping and hauling a definite asset.

Knowledge of Diesel trucks especially older model tandems, tandem trailer, triaxle, single axle, trains etc.

High energy problem solver with strong work ethic.

Minimum of 2 years driving experience. Experience as Class 1 Truck Driver, Class 1 Delivery driver with dump experience is desired.

Strong communication skills.

Safety focus.
