Greater Sudbury, Canada Legend Mining Inc. Full time

The QAQC safety coordinator is responsible for ensuring all Legend Mining Inc. and customer compliances are met, documented and submitted. An audit of the workplace is to be performed once per week, containing visual (photos) and written documentation. Assisting the project superintendent with clerical duties as needed. Reporting to the project superintendent and the safety manager.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Proactively interacts with Legend Mining Inc. & customer personnel
- Establish, develop, and maintain safety compliances and quality control of work being performed
- Maintains an accurate safety logs with all pertinent information for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate and participate in workgroup meetings and strive for continuous improvement for our organization.
- Report activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested.

**Requires Knowledge & Awareness of Following Tasks**:

- Excellent Inter-personnel skills.
- High level of drive, assertiveness, empathy and resilience.
- Organized and motivated self-starter. Works well with mínimal direction.
- Can provide administrative support.

**Work Conditions**:

- Office work (sitting at desk/working on computer for long periods of time)
- Field work (outdoors, dusty/dirty environments, underground site visits)
- At times it may be necessary to work outside of the regular workday in order to complete their duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
