Clinical Research Assistant Iii

Projects in maternal-newborn care. The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA III) will assist in protocol and procedure manual development, database and case report form development, research ethics board submissions, assistance with regulatory and administrative management of clinical trials and other research projects. The (CRA III) will facilitate the conduct of day-to-day operations including basic database management, coordination of project meetings and multi-center communication, along with other day to day activities as assigned and provide ongoing support to the study team in all aspects to ensure success of projects.
**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science field with 2 years Clinical Trial research experience
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2), the International Conference on Harmonization - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP) and Health Canada Division 5
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and protocol requirements.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project (preferred), basic database
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and newborn care
- Advanced time-management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to maintain records of research activities (source documents, essential documents)
- Bilingual in English and French (not required but preferred)
- Flexible work schedule
**Contract Details**:
This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.
**Salary**: Min: $29.091 - Max: $39.463
