Assistant Store Manager

Position Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager position is responsible for assisting the store team in store operations, opening and closing procedures as well as security during their shift. The Assistant Store Manager must also provide efficient and friendly service to customers and for maintaining excellent Store operating standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall security of the store.
- Work closely with the Store Manager at store level
- Oversees the store operations and provides a safe working environment for the rest of the team.
- Provides a high level of customer service by establishing contact, greeting customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provides a weekly update to the ownership and District Manager in the absence of the Store Manager
- Promote the brand
- Provides solutions for customers concerns.
- Receiving orders and following the proper procedures.
- Completes the Closing Supervisors work plans.
- Maintains a balanced float while on shift and counts cash drawer at end of shift, reporting and accounting for any discrepancies
- Faces and displays merchandise
- Ensures products are scanning correctly - Demonstrates a high level of professional and ethical standards by adhering to all Company policies and procedures
- Handles products and operates equipment according to regulations and Company policies and procedures
- Demonstrates consistent growth in product knowledge and product changes
- Follows the Urban Cellars dress codes at all times while at work
**Requirements**:
- **Must HAVE** Open availability to work nights and weekends as this will be mostly evening shifts
- **Must** be 19+ years of age
- **Must** have Serving it Right certification
- **Must** be able to provide a criminal back round check.
- Must be able to bend, reach and stand for long periods of time with out issue.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis without issue.
- Employee co-pay health benefits available after the probationary period of 3 months.

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
