**Basic Purpose**

A Sales Coordinator is a member of the Sales Team who is responsible for representing Canad Inns in communications with the public/clients. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing sales duties in accordance with the Sales Plan our Destination Centres, and effectively managing the documentation and communication of event details.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**
- Prepares banquet event orders, communicate effectively with guests, managers, and employees to ensure that all room setups, equipment, supplies staffing and menus meet/exceed customers’ expectations;

**Qualifications**
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Ability to operate under ongoing pressure
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective project management skills.
- Sound understanding of sales principles.
- Good team player understanding and able to meet or exceed team goals.
- Plan decisions and practice good judgment.
- Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
- Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
- Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts.
- Communicate excellently in verbal and in writing with all kinds of people.
