**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The following duties for the role include but are not limited to:

- Follow all legislative and Marineland Health and Safety policies
- Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, minor adjustments of equipment.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal ride operations.
- Notify Ride Maintenance Mechanics of any malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns.
- Assist Ride Maintenance Mechanics in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all rides.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Maintain proper and accurate documentation of all repairs.

**Qualifications**:

- Education in a mechanical maintenance setting with the goal of working towards earning their Rides Maintenance Certificate (ADM-AR).
- Good communication skills required.
- Use of power and hand tools common to the mechanical repair trade; detect malfunctions in operating machinery and make repairs.
- Ability to work with others as well as independently.
- Work with enthusiasm, energy, and multitasking, maintaining integrity and confidentiality and concentration while working under a variety of pressures.
- Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the entirety of scheduled shifts, during various weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work varied shifts, weekend, and holidays.
- Must have a driver’s license.
