YOUR ROLE:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand different clients’ brand requirements, tone and manner, and language styles
- Write WeChat advertorials and articles for various industries like real estate, fashion, education and more
- Craft appealing headlines for advertorials and WeChat account articles
- Meet writing deadlines as assigned
- Ensure high-quality content creation with no grammar and spelling mistakes
- Generate, research, and pitch topic ideas
- Provide translations as needed
- Create Red (Little Red Book) content as needed
- 20 working hours available per month preferred
- *Perform other related duties as required_

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY
- A resume
- Two (2) Chinese writing samples (real-estate content preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing) is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of writing experience for a marketing team in a corporate company, marketing agency or local media
- Excellent proficiency in Chinese and English
- Proven record of commercial writing or editing experience is a must. Experience in creating real estate articles is preferred
- Strong Red (Little Red Book) content and operation experience will be a bonus
- Previous storytelling, writing and content creation experience required
- Professionalism and tact in receiving feedback and guidance from our editors
- Previous journalism and/or editing experience
- Strong understanding of WeChat language tones, trends, current events, and culture
- An interest in real estate issues and stories
- Accountable and committed to each writing tasks
- Detail-oriented
- Prompt and clear communications skills
- Knowledge of Google Suites and remote work tools is an asset (ClickUp, Slack, etc.)
