**Position Overview**: We are currently hiring for a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader within our Landscape Maintenance Division. This person will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring our clients’ landscapes remain vibrant and thriving. As a Team Leader, you’ll guide and mentor team members while working hands-on in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
We service all areas of Winnipeg and surrounding regions. This team Leader will primarily start their day out of our location in Headingley, but with the potential to work from our St.Andrews location so
**What You’ll Do**: Lead and participate in maintenance tasks, including:

- Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Removing debris, weeding, and maintaining clean, safe walkways.
- Operate and oversee the use of small-engine equipment like trimmers, lawnmowers, and blowers.
- Manage and motivate team members to complete tasks efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Communicate with clients as needed to ensure their satisfaction with the work.
- Track and monitor maintenance schedules, ensuring all sites are serviced on time.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and trailers.
- Operate truck and trailer safely, and conduct appropriate tie down procedures, and walk arounds.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, lawn care, and plant maintenance.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of outdoor work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work efficiently in diverse weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or dusty).
- Comfortable working weekends if needed (weather and schedule dependent).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

**Work Schedule**:

- April to November (weather-dependent)
- Monday to Friday : 10-12 hours/day, with occasional Saturday shifts.
- Winter work is available but not required.
- Expected hours: 50-60 per week.
