Brampton, Canada Farrex Freight Systems Ltd Full time

We currently have an immediate need for a Full-Time position for International Coordinator - Import/ Export
- Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing.
- Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file
- Ensure all client special instructions are followed
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status
- Tracking status with truckers & ocean and air carriers and keeping clients/agents advised of status on daily base.
- Communicates clearly, timely and effectively with overseas offices, agents, customs brokers, customers and domestic vendors.
- Knowledge of Canada Customs, CARM, CERS and EManifest regulations.
- Responsible to work with Sales, Operations and Manager to assist in the preparation of SOP’s for all clients handled by the coordinator.
- Follow up on client’s reports
- Perform billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents
- Maintain customer profiles

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 3 years related experience;
- Experience handling Ocean and Air shipments and asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professional
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Team Player
- Strong computer skills

**Experience**:

- International Logistics: 3 years (required)
