The Manufacturing Financial Analyst position will be focused on performing elements of the period close activities including Internal Control requirements. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager but also works closely with the Director of Finance and Operation teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability:

- Period End Duties - Month/Quarter/Year End closing activities including journal entry preparation/posting and account analysis.
- Reconciliations -Responsible for the reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts to the sub-ledger and investigates variances.
- Accurate preparation of period end reporting requirements in accordance with Husky's Financial Close process and Internal Control policies
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of Inventory transactions and processes.
- Responsible for the accounting treatment of Husky's warranty process
- Work closely with Operations teams to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Participate in ad hoc tasks, additional analysis surrounding operational activities and / or other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.**REQUIREMENTS**:
EDUCATION
- University Degree - Business/Accounting/Commerce
Designation - CPA designation or working towardsEXPERIENCE
- 3+ years accounting experience in Manufacturing
- Experience working with a large ERP system (Baan/LN/Oracle/AX)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong Analytical Skills and understanding of operations accounting
- Detailed and deadline oriented individual.
- Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment.
