WELDING REPAIR TECHNICIAN

The Welding Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of welding machines in our service department according to our warranty center guidelines. If you do not have advanced knowledge of welding machine repair and electrical experience, you need not apply. Must be able to work on a tight timeline and a daily schedule that involves:

- Repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial welding equipment.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues.
- Complete timely diagnostics and quality repairs resulting in high customer satisfaction.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime for customers.
- Able to adapt to emergency/unscheduled repairs of welding equipment.
- Performs regular oil changes on equipment.
- Performs calibrations on welding equipment sometimes on a tight timeline.
- Complete the repair requirements of each assignment on a timely basis to ensure the required profitability of the work order.
- Maintains accurate and timely records of maintenance performed.
- Ability to operate required tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ensures work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with our warranty center guidelines.
- Looks for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes.
- Works with all company personnel in a cooperative and professional manner.
- Strictly adheres to all safety rules, policies and procedures.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. Remains current on equipment and repair procedures and best practices.
- Follows written and verbal instructions and performs other tasks as directed by owner.
- Full-Time position with flexible hours.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to travel to the U.S. for continued certifications.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Small engine repair experience.

Qualifications:

- Advanced knowledge of welding machine repairs.
- Lincoln/Miller service training an asset - will accept expired tickets.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
