DK2 pioneered the combination of online ordering with door-step delivery of previously difficult-to-package outdoor power equipment and utility trailers. Currahee Trailers, is a manufacturer of landscape and utility trailers, produces 100+ trailers per week and sells product throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. The company’s products are built to last and reflect the 30+ years Currahee has been in business.

We have an immediate opening in our Finance division in our Burlington, Ontario location for a Financial Controller.

- 5+ years relevant manufacturing accounting experience is required
- MS Excel & 3-statement financial modeling experience is required
- BS/BA degree in accounting
- CPA is preferred
- MS Dynamics experience is preferred
- All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption

**Major Responsibilities**
- Analyze monthly inventory balances and COGS expense recognition for reasonableness including factory costs, commissions, customs, duties, and freight
- Manage corporate consolidated monthly financial reports and covenant credit reports in accordance with US GAAP
- Lead corporate annual audit with external auditors
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Analyze changes in balance sheet accounts
- Oversee cash management including on-time collections, processing of payments, deductions and cash forecasting
- Periodic physical inventory counts (on premises)
- General ledger close management (monthly)
- Provide support with variance and expense analysis during month-end close
- Drive on-going financial and reporting process improvements in MS Dynamics
- Complete special projects as assigned with a heavy focus on inventory recognition and working with our 3rd party IT partner to automate and build systematic financial controls and policies in MS Dynamics

**Salary and Benefits**
- $105,000 annually
- 4 weeks paid vacation annually & 4 wellness days.

**Salary**: $105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing Accounting: 5 years (required)
- MS Dynamics: 3 years (preferred)
- MS Excel & 3-statement financial modeling: 5 years (required)
