**Who we need**

With a high level of commitment to education and providing quality advice and guidance to students, the position of Admissions Advisor is the first point of contact for learners seeking admission to Yorkville University.

The position is a key member of the Admissions Department team, focused on providing exceptional service to students interested in studying at Yorkville University.

You have a sound understanding of the programs and courses offered and outstanding communication and interviewing skills (primarily telephone-based). You have excellent organizational skills with meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail. You have high standards of ethics and integrity, with a commitment to changing lives.

Admissions Advisors work both directly with students and with other university departments to ensure a smooth transition into university programs and courses.

**What you will do**:

- Advise prospective students using a consultative process and guide them through the admissions process with the goal of determining if the program is a fit for their educational needs.
- Achieve quarterly assigned enrollment targets
- Effectively follow departmental lead management guidelines for all leads
- Build and manage active pipeline of leads
- Utilize database to efficiently track interactions and the progression of all assigned leads
- Actively participate in daily meetings and come prepared to discuss performance data, prospective applicants, and creative strategies to enhance your performance
- Review previous term’s conversion metrics to forecast future enrollment metrics
- Requires the ability to work under pressure a flexible schedule, weekends, evenings to accommodate student, departmental and company’s needs

**What you bring**:

- 4-year degree preferred, OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience.
- Experience within inside sales, outside sales or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in higher education and/or college admissions and recruitment beneficial but not required.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
