**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to support children with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including scheduling, transitions, and behavioral management.
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.

**Skills**
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
- Strong childcare background with experience working with young children in educational settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation efficiently.
- Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
- Leadership qualities to guide children positively while fostering independence and confidence.
- Writing skills for documenting student progress and preparing reports or communications.
- Computer operation skills for using educational software, record keeping systems, and communication tools. This position offers an enriching opportunity to contribute meaningfully to children's early development while working in a supportive team environment dedicated to quality education.
